Six reasons to buy SugarLike Encapsulated Monk Fruit

Somebody recently asked why SugarLike is better than anything else – Stevia, Xyletol etc. Here are six reasons than come to mind.

  • 1. SugarLike is best tasting alternative to sugar – taste is like sugar, not a hint of monk fruit metallic taste or distinctive flavor.
  • 2. SugarLike is 1X, same sweetness as sugar. Not concentrated, so you don’t have to measure or change your recipe or usage.
  • 3. SugarLike is not concentrated so you can easily taste it as is. (concentrated sweeteners are often bitter to taste)

How much sugar, really?

Seems that food manufacturers will be changing the way they present sugar, if new regulations for Health Canada are approved.

Combined Sugar Ingredients

The proposed regulations will call for sugars of all kinds to be combined in the ingredient list. So a product that has sugars(honey, molasses, evaporated cane juice, sugar) will not list them separately, but together on a single line. That means the total amount of sugar will determine the sequence of ingredients.

This is a good move for health conscious people.

When we see the first ingredient is the sugars, we may change our decision. Separate sugars could cause the individual ingredients to drop down in the list, because they individually make up a small part of the whole. But when they get combined together, sugar may well become the first ingredient.

SugarLike has less sugar
